Happy New Year!!
1997 is history and we're two years away from the great 2000. Well, we've been working very hard over the past few weeks to bring you a fabulous new tool! Just click on the Search button and you can now search the entire MAonline directory for exactly what you are looking for. Just type in a word or words (keywords) like restaurant or chinese restaurant and a list of your choices will appear, ready to be clicked. Pretty cool, eh? You can even search by town so go ahead and give it a whirl. You're going to love it.

Hope everyone had a nice holiday and lots of cheer!! There's a fabulous new recipe up at Joanne's Kitchen for Salmon Pate. Lucky for me that Joanne let's me be the taste tester for all of her recipes. So far, not only have I enjoyed the wonderful foods but I have also lived to tell about them (ha ha).

Well, due to a lack of interest we are removing the classified ad section. If we receive some interest in the form of e-mailed or mailed ads for items for sale than we will be happy to bring back the classifieds.
There will be some new recipes arriving shortly at Joanne's Kitchen and if you havn't checked out her Potato & Leek soup you don't know what your missing. Perfect for those cold winter nights.

Well, another Thanksgiving has come and gone and now we have all that shopping to look forward to. Take a look through our Consumers's Guide sites for some fun shopping that you can do online, right from your cozy home!!
We have changed our site with the holidays approaching. Watch for upcoming events.

Classified Ads & Homes for Sale is our newest consumer area. Whatever you have that you would like to sell, an old bike, stereo equipment, your old computer, etc., you can
list here for free!
including your home!!
If it sells through our ad then you would compensate us with a small commission. You can also include pictures for better results at a nominal charge. Just use the form provided to place your ad and if you would like to use a picture or two send it to the address at the bottom of the form.

The Consumer's Guide has had some great additions in the Consumer Info area. Lots of great consumer information and links to consumer affairs, better business bureau, consumer protection sites and some fun stuff too.

Joanne's Kitchen Has just finished baking a warm apple crisp and if you could only smell it. Well, you can! Just go to her site and follow the pictorial demonstration. In about two hours you won't believe your eyes, nose and tastebuds! Bon Appetit!!
WMSX - The Talk of Metro South We would like to give honorable mention to our most recent virtual storefront, WMSX - Talk radio of the MetroSouth area!! 09/27/97 Groceries To Go has come to town!! You can now shop at home for groceries, have them delivered to your door and receive free goods and, best of all, pay the same or often better prices than you have been paying where you shop. Check them out by going to @ Your Service
09/24/97 @ Your Service! is a new area of MAonline where we will offer our viewers various services such as our first introduction, Virtual Greetings!! You can now send a digital postcard to friends and/or family right from MAonline. Why don't you give it a try!!

09/13/97 Introduction of Joanne's Kitchen, an interactive recipe site where Joanne has offered some of her favorite recipes (and mine). The recipes are broken down into a pictorial and textual step by step demonstration, followed by a picture of the finished product and a printable page including the ingredient list.

09/01/97 MAonline gets a major facelift! The WebSite is completely restructured to be easier to navigate and many new features are added. MAonline becomes the Massachusetts Consumer's Guide to Products and Services! New areas are developed for the viewer to browse and obtain valuable and important information that effects their daily lives.
One of the new feature areas is Consumer's Guide where MAonline offers numerous links, some important, some just for fun.
